{Pony Adagio} "Oh, how ARE things under Starlight Glimmer's tutelage? It must be so much better than Tartarus. So happy to hear they let a little filly out. Poor dear. I know you were just...misunderstood." the disguised siren chuckled but gave the decidedly not-so-innocent filly a wink to show she was "in" on the ruse and found this entire thing with Starlight oh-so-amusing. There was in fact one adult in this world who found Cozy's plan quite charming! / @sirencor

“Oh golly, you don’t have to say that! I understand that I had to be punished for my actions...” Cozy could instantly tell something was off about this pony. Though maybe it had something to do with the fact that they were giving hints and making it so obvious? This suggested they know about Cozy’s ruse and were looking for something. 

Just entertainment perhaps? Unless of course this was some kind of test set up by Starlight but....wouldn’t Starlight fear such a test could encourage her to do more bad? That’s what Cozy thought so this likely wasn’t fake.

“Things are much better now that I’m out! Ponies seem to be believing in me again! How about you, miss....?”

{Nightshade Pyre to Oleander} "Pardon the intrusion. Am I hearing things or was your saddle bag just speaking?" the kirin smirked, quite sure she had caught the unicorn with some magical creature in her bag. She couldn't have imagined the voice was emanating from a text!

Oleander seemed to pale at the sight of the Kirin, looking at her in disbelief. And she thought meeting a Longma was scaryat first glance! She had heard many tales of them in her travels, but never in her wildest dreams did she imagine meeting one. The duality between their gentle nature and the righteous justice they dispense made them honestly terrifying to a witch like her. Sure, this Kirin could be nice now, but if they knew she was a dark magic user this could get very messy.

Those pericing eyes made the mare draw back subconsciously, metaphorically backing herself into a corner as she let the question linger there. Her first instinct was to lie, but doing so might arouse further suspicion and possible anger. If she were to get out alive, she had to use a little more tact than that. Half truths! Half truths were good. It’s not like she was asking what was in the bag. Haha!

The unicorn took a deep breath and finally addressed the Kirin, "Why, yes it was. I don't always have time to read, sometimes I have them read to me!"

She hoped very much that the stranger would buy it, as there was no way she could muster up the strength to actually lie to a Kirin.

Cue Autumn Blaze trotting up. "Hi, are you Pinkie Pie!? Fluttershy and Applejack told me about you. And Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Princess Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer! I assume you're Pinkie Pie because you're pink. But you know that's really lookism of me, isn't it. Maybe I shouldn't assume that.You might actually be Rarity or Rainbow Dash or Princess Twilight Sparkle or Starlight Glimmer. Ha! Hi, I'm Autumn Blaze! Nice to meet you!" {{Lol gosh}}

‘ oh no! i am pinkie pie! i’m pink! and i like pie! i like making pies too, it’s a pleasure to meet you! oh gosh are you that kirin they told me about! it’s amazing, you look so different but so similar! rarity is elegant and has a purple mane, rainbow is rainbow! and a pegasus, and twilight is an alicorn! and purple! ’a hoof reached out and as soon as the other connected, she began to shake the others hoof quite happily.

{Starlight/ starlight-glimmer} "Trix, I know Romeo isn't your idea of the cutest critter around, what with being a rat and all. But even you've got to admit..." Starlight lifted a blanket off her pet rat's tank to display what she had done with her little friend's abode. There was a mini Hearth's Warming tree and the rat had on a winter sweater and a holiday hat. "This is the cutest thing you've ever seen, isn't it?"

“I don’t know Star... I think I’ve seen something even cuter today.” She laughed a bit at her little joke. But honestly, Starlight dressing up her little pet and showing it off was adorable, she had to boop her nose.

{Starlight} "Cozy, no antagonizing Princess Celestia. And before you think about it, leave Twilight alone too, missy."

“I’m not antagonizing!” Cozy gives a hurt look as she holds a hoof to her chest. As if she were shocked that Starlight would say such a thing! “I’m just speaking as a concerned normal citizen of this land about our future! Surely I have the right to question some things too!”

The dark side of reading...

To Fred, the dark spirit of the Unicornomicon, there was always something alluring about the night sky in this world. It was almost as if it were crafted for creatures of the night, scions of darkness. Ever since he and his companion Oleander arrived in this strange new world, he often found himself looking up at the stars each night, much to the Unicorn's dismay. But tonight however, something else had caught his attention...

In the middle of the night he felt it, a darker presence similar to his own had appeared somewhere in town. Normally he wouldn't dare leave Oleander's side as they were contracted, but seeing as she was asleep and he was too darn curious to know what he was feeling, he had to go.

It wasn’t easy dragging himself up a chair and to the open window with which he made his escape, but once he was outside and in the moonlight things were much easier. No slopes, no stairs, nothing in his way keeping him from his target. Foot by foot, the dark hand of Fred dragged his book bound body through the streets of Ponyville.
