And how could ANYONE regret smooching such a beautiful horse as this? Velvet smiles, placing a soft smooch to the unicorn's lips.
"Be jealous, Foenum...she's zhe only one allowed to have zhis~"
"Yes, be very jealous... Let your jealousy consume you!"
"I mean, I love you dear~"
((zhe-floofiest-ice-queen)) Surprise! Snuggles for a pretty horse. The only one allowed to get the reindeer snuggs. A true honor for sure.
"Tis the only honor that matters to me right now..."
Floofy snugs are the only thing that can warm her icy heart...
The horse has been silent for a while, as did the rest of the world it would seem. What an oddity, what limbo did they all get trapped in that they would be so inactive all this time? Maybe they should fix this...
Her eyes widened. Reine was a big settlement, sure. But it wasn’t the ONLY settlement in Foenum! “Yours...zhe cow’s....everyvone could have a hidden pred-den! Zhis is...terrifying!”
She thought for a moment, “I zhink...zhe best course of action vould be to make sure yours is safe first!”
"You... you are right."
Of course she was. Vanity aside, she was rather good at keeping others in mind. More specifically, Oleander and her concerns. As much as she disliked her people for what she did to her, how could she prove them wrong about her if they were all eaten?
That was why she left the woodlands yo begin with. Somebody had to do it. They sure were not, and now the irony was killer, that they were so confident in the light protecting them, that they failed fo see the darkness already in their midst. No, it's worse than that. They saw the wrong darkness.
"Where are the other champions when we need them. We can't warn everyone at once."
“Hopefully zhey are doing zheir part and not just lazing about somevhere....” It was all she could say. She could somewhat vouch for Arizona trying to get things done considering their encounter she’d rather not talk about...but she can’t speak for the rest. She had a hunch that Paprika was in no danger...that Alpaca WAS the danger... “Shall ve zhen?” She was ready to go...sprites at her sides with the necessities: Magic oats, brushes, combs, hair dryers, powder. She was ready for an outing far from home!
She blinks, a little surprised that Velvet would so easily offer to come with her. She had not expected it, but then again oleander often did make a wrong assumption about his girlfriend from time to time. Even someone you 'know well' can still surprise you.
"You would go with me? Good..."
Honestly, it was a good thing. A very good thing she is coming with her. Knowing her people, they would never listen to Oleander. But her? Velvet has a way of winning people over. If anyone can convince them to take a look around to eliminate that foul waystone, it would be her.

She giggles at the unicorn’s joke. Velvet wasn’t generally one to do that, mostly just sticking her nose up in full reindeer fashion and ignoring the jokester. But Ollie here...she WANTED to listen to Ollie....she loved this silly, magical horse! “Vhere have you been anyvay? I’ve looked high and low!”
"I loathe to admit... But our duties do still remain."
Ever watchful, ever vigilant, Fred floated by her side, silently judging the two of them. Oleander seemed rather nervous, and rightfully so. This sort of talk was rather fast at souring the mood.
"I have been... Training. As well as studying. Those predators will not stop themselves."
She sighs. As much as she wanted her mind to be focused on both Oleander and herself, the predators have not ceased. “I too have been doing my part....Reine is big....I’ve been keeping an eye out for any more nasty surprises this city may be concealing...like zhe ones ve found a vhile back!”
"What a horrid affair. And under your own city no less. Dare I wonder where else those horrid stones may...."
A sudden, horrible realization dawned on her, making the dark horse whiter than a bed sheet. Why did she not think of this before, "They may even be... under my own home."
As if she could call it home anymore. Everyone had turned dtheir backs on her. They were not her people anymore. And yet, what kind of champion would she be if she did nothing to eliminate that threat too.

Surprised horse noises followed as she did not expect to see her beautiful girlfriend so soon after waking up. Didn't she have floof to... Oh, who was she kidding, she sometimes just wakes up looking that gorgeous.
"Good day to me~"
She grins, pressing her snoot against the other’s. “About time I had somevone else beautiful to look at! How I’ve missed you, darling!”
A quick little smoochie is given, “I’d say zhe good day goes to me as vell!”
The unicorn scrunched her face at that. My, so forward... as if she would really have it any other way though. She loved this darn deer.
A small smile formed on her features as she states, "I suppose your aim is getting better."
A joke, from her? Who was this, and what did she do with Oleander? Her smile widened as she nuzzled Veovet brazenly, "I have missed you too..."

“You are right! There may be more of those stone gates out there. If that Cow could stumble upon one, its possible there may have been someone else who did as well.”

“Is FAR too quiet if you ask me. I do enjoy my tranquility but zhe silence for too long is MURDER on my poor nerves.”

Times like this makes her wish she could slap her editor, but if she did that Fred would punch them thrice as hard…
“Your editor’s not zhe only one getting struck! Mine deserves zhe assault as vell!”
Hey now let’s not- “SILENCE! I’m talking to my beloved!”

“Zhank you. Now zhen….how can ve alleviate zhis rut ve’ve found ourselves in….I zhink ve need a LITTLE excitement….”
“And what would you suggested, Velvet? I am open to any and all suggestions...”

Oleander chuckled softly to herself and said, “You are not wrong, grey one... And she is all mine!”

“I imagine they woul dhave a horrible tummy ache, followed by a painful, exruciating death.”
She was flaunting her looks once more, gracefully walking through the streets in her new ensemble. With the coming spooks in mere days, she wore a fitting set-up of a black dress, laced with little spider designs, a black rose on her chest (totally not meant to lure in pretty black unicorns or anything), and a witch hat on her head, adorned with purple gems. She had dark eyeliner and lipstick on her face. She felt both spooky AND gorgeous!
“A beautiful night...but not as beautiful as me~”
Oleander’s smile was still present for a moment after Velvet pressed against her, but soon her expression showed that of great exhaustion, “Whew... I think I may have overdone it a little.”
Overdone it is probably too weak a phrase for this display of power. Its not that she simply gave the decorations ‘life’, she was actively maintaining the spell for it can be stopped at a moment’s notice. One never knows when aharmless spell can go wrong, so this way he is ensuring that it won’t last longer than she does.

Oleander nodded fervently, “Oh, I would love nothing more!”
She had plans, big plans, but for now they would need to wait for them to arrive first. Even during the whole walk there, she didn’t let it slip once what was on her mind, but that wicked grin, that never left her face for even a moment!
She walks along, leading the clearly excited unicorn towards the grandiose display. Naturally there were reindeer gathered to take in the sights.
As Velvet stated, it was a graveyard scene….unnatural fog blanketed the display, adding to the creepy atmosphere. Skeletal and zombified ungulates, clearly fake but VERY well detailed, were soon emerging from or standing over the graves in question.
“Quite zhe spectacle, no?”
Oleander calmly walked forward, as if wanting to get a better look at the display. The spectacle was indeed nice, but it was missing something. Something big for this time of the year. True terror!
With a spark of her horn, the displays started to move, coming to life as Oleander used all the magic she had to shock and scare all who were brave enough to look at the wonderful display. The animated zombies and skeletons were harmless of course, but the idea of them chasing around other Ungulates was frightful in of itself.
With a satisfied look on her face, she sat down beside Velvet and watched her handywork.
