Is it ever OK to tell a smut author that you masturbate to their fics?

I know some people don't like knowing anything about it, so I guess proceed with caution? I've always personally taken it as a compliment-but I think it depends.

Comments referencing a 'one handed read' make my day. But I would advise against graphic details, especially if it's the first time you've ever interacted with a writer and you don't know what their boundaries are.

However, there are certain phrases that can be utilised to get the point across. something like 'thank you for the fantasy fuel!' is just as effective as anything more in depth, can apply to pretty much anything, and we know. We know.

If it's an unhinged mutual of which I have many than basically all bets are off and I know the names of their sex toys so...your mileage will vary.

Hi, Lee! Gilmore Girls, hands down. I started watching it when it first aired but then lost track. An obsessed coworker got me back into it later and I remain hooked. I love the witty dialogue and relationships, and have sobbed many times over Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

What is one thing about yourself that you wish more people knew about you? I will fight to the death for someone I care about but if you do me dirty, you’re 💀. I will hold a grudge until the end of time.

What did you love doing as a kid that you don’t do anymore? I read a lot as a kid and I still do that now. I guess I created a lot more art without fear and that is truly crippling me every day now. I just want to write and draw and create.

What was the most difficult conversation you ever had? I’m definitely bad at confrontation. So I’ve had a lot. Probably when I quit a job I had been at for 7 years or maybe when I was moving out on a roommate. I ended up writing them a letter cause I couldn’t say it out loud. Every conversation with my ex was tough because I had undiagnosed adhd and he was a chaotic narcissist so if I didn’t have a full bibliography to back up everything I said, it meant I was wrong and lying and my brain always just shut down. Many convos are hard for me - I overthink before and after and stew and worry.

When do you feel most like yourself? Two times/places - when I’m in my head or in Massachusetts, which both happen at the same time when there. And both make me sound crazy LOL. The version of me in my head is what I am trying to be as much as I can every day but she is also braver than I and creates wonderful art without worry. She’s still a little weird and wonky but it took me forever to love that part of myself so I’m keeping it. As for Massachusetts, I don’t know why. I am always there alone and just go to bookstores and coffee shops and live in my head and end up super lonely but there’s something there that I don’t feel anywhere else. And also when I’m talking to @inshelliesworld and @tas-renee. I can be me and am me when I’m talking to them. I feel it when I’m taking pictures and doing yoga too. I feel it a little bit when writing and when thinking about learning to draw but that’s why the me in my head wins. This was rambly. Sorry.
