This is a Redbud Tree I found on the Upper East Side at the end of York Ave. I have never seen a tree like this before. The blossoms look like they are attached directly to the bark. They are a beautiful tree and this one was in full bloom when we found it on our way to the ASPCA to look at rescue dogs. We didn’t find a match but we did find this tree. Score one for us!
