So I tried out this new curl keeper stuff because as someone with curly hair knows you’re always on the lookout for new products. I’m not that impressed on the first day. From reviews they say you only have to use this product to tame frizz and make your curls pop and I liked watching videos about it on youtube but I don’t think I used enough or I need to make it part of a cocktail because my hair was a frizzy mess today
Has anyone used the Curl Keeper gel? I used the original Curl Keeper a while back and LOVED it. Now that I’m growing out a pixie/undercut it needs a little more hold than a cream gives and I’m very interested in the gel. I’d love to hear thoughts and reviews!

This month’s box theme is Pretty Mighty. It may look dainty, but inside you’ll find powerful, high-performing products for equally powerful women--just like you.
I decided to choose a sample because the curated box was not for me.
Keep reading to see what was in my March box.
1. ARROW ENHANCE Waterproof Eyeliner + Brightener
I got this eyeliner in a sample size with only the brightening end. The full-size eyeliner retails for $16.
This is the sample I chose. I’m all about waterproof eyeliners lately. I just recently became obsessed, so this sample choice came at the right time.
2. Coastal Scents Revealed Smoky Palette
I got this eyeshadow sample in a small quad, but the full palette retails for $19.95.
These shadows are very pretty and very blendable to be so inexpensive. You really can’t go wrong with Coastal Scents.
3. Curl Keeper by Curly Hair Solutions Original Curl Keeper
I got this product in a deluxe sample size, but the full size retails for $17.50.
I’m willing to give this product a chance because I do have curly hair, which means I’m always battling frizz. However, even if I like it, I’m unlikely to repurchase because I just cannot justify paying almost $20 for a hair product that will only last like three uses for me.
4. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream
I got this moisturizer in a sample size, but the full size retails for $27.50.
Kiehl’s is a great brand and I’m happy to give this a try...but again, I probably would not repurchase because there are many other cheaper moisturizers that work perfectly well for me.
I got this shampoo in a deluxe sample size, but the full size retails for $10.99.
This is a brand I always wanted to try, but I didn’t want to spend that much money on hair products. Now I finally get to try it! But I kind of wish this was one of their curl defining products instead of a boring shampoo.
My March 2016 @Birchbox #Review is up now on my blog! #bblogger #beautybox #makeup
One of my favorite times of the month is when I get my Birchbox. I love being surprised with new makeup and I like being able to try out different products that I otherwise would not have tried. I’ve found a few favorite products this way, so I’m always excited to open up my box and see what’s inside. (more…)
I am so EXCITED about my first beauty subscription box from We Are Onyx.
