At least the way that my school’s worked, you basically got passed through even if you didn’t have the ability or knowledge to pass classes. You can also test out of certain classes and not have to take them. She might have been able to do that.

The US school system is so otherworldly for me.

Like, how are you gonna teach kids anything when everyone is in all the same core classes?
