It was narrated from Mu'awiyah bin Jahimah As-Sulami, that Jahimah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:

All my life I have always struggled with frizzy unwanted curly hair!!! That’s right I hated my hair soooo much that it would always be up in buns or straight... I would be embarrassed of my curls and frizz. My husband always told me he loved my hair and I just didn’t really care for it. Why you ask? Well because I was teased growing up and bullied because of my hair, and no one taught me how to care for it or manage it. It took me 25+ years to love my hair!
