There was something about a big frozen sheet above a lake that really scream don’t do it to her, especially when that frozen sheet was as clear as glass... But she’d wanted to investigate and after seeing plenty of other people walking across it just fine, she’d decided to brave it. 

Almost instantly she was immensely glad she had; the lights in the water below made it a simply magnificent sight! So beautiful! Art and nature woven so beautifully together; this was definitely a scene she was going to use as inspiration. But speaking of inspiration, there was another on the ice that had captured her interest more than most... What an aesthetic! So tall, so pale, and that horn! She absolutely needed to speak to this person.

After learning from her previous mistake of approaching with only one hot drink, she slid her way back for a short stop before sliding on over. Not exactly quickly and not with as much grace as she might have liked. But she didn’t fall! Not bad for a hot drink in either hand.

“Hello! Sorry to disturb you, I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”

Wow, really tall now she was closer... “Would you like a hot cocoa? I have a spare.” Which she held out to him. “Are you enjoying the lake? It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”

Touched starved as he is, Aaravos does not mind the unwarranted stroking. Attention paid to him and his pretty face is most welcomed. He’ll even indulge the affection by inclining his head and easing his glittering cheek into Amdusias‘s open hand.

What a waste of a request, he thought. Aaravos would dutifully assemble at Amdusias behest, completing any and all desires that were required of him and yet he was asked for something so simple and tame. Where was the theatrics? The rush of excitement? The battle of ‘moral’ obligation? No one has creative imagination anymore! Oh well.. at least hands ‘pon his snowy white mane would soothe the disappointment kept hidden behind polite smiles.
