funny how the most common monsters of the week on supernatural are restless spirits with unfinished business, usually due to some sort of great pain or injustice, who linger in places they once knew stuck in a moment of unending, violent stasis until whatever put them there is set right or they get literally burned out and now that's basically the fate of its fans
