What stage of fandom are you in when your emotions about a piece of media and its creators are so intense, you feel physically ill and have to avoid said fandom for your own well-being? Is this stage normal? Is there a name for it? Will it pass?

current mood:
sending myself on the idea of Narcissa and Lucius not as perfect flagbearers of high society but as a beautifully toxic found family of deeply broken people who accept each others' darkness without reservation and stand together against the world as they try to build something better of their own

Little guy number 61: me ow sadface :(
found an excuse to read this book for fic research and. let me tell you. i am living
Me: *writing*
Also me: *gets distracted thinking about scenes three chapters away and ends up staring into space with a stupid smile for 15 minutes, and feeling very productive*
Thusly me: *comes back to reality and looks at my screen, and sees where I actually am in the story* Well, shit.
Okay starting research for the Arthur is at least partially deaf in his left ear theory. I’ll have to replay the last three missions of chapter 3 and the first of chapter four, but so far-
When he’s at the end of the dock after the time skip from the end of peacemakers, Swanson approaches from behind/his left. He does appear to hear him coming, but jumps a tiny bit like he didn’t expect Swanson to be that close already
While meeting with Brontë in The Gilded Cage, he stays off to the right. BUT, when they turn around to leave and Brontë is now on his left, he keeps his eyes on Dutch like he’s watching for clues on how to react.
Part of his general ‘don’t like being here’ at the mayors party could come from his hearing being shot*. The overall noise wouldn’t have done him any favors
COUNTERPOINT- he hears Dutch whisper orders to go find information about Cornwall despite Dutch mostly being on his left. However he heard the original conversation and would already know what Dutch wants him to do. Half points
Sits with his left side to the wall during the carriage ride into Saint Denis
COUNTERPOINT- Arthur holds eye contact with people pretty much always, but looking at someone guarantees his good ear would be aimed their direction. Again, half points
current status: pondering a world in which Draco has an older / illegitimate sibling he doesn't know about who hates his guts because they should be the heir
fun if it's a half sibling. funner if it's a full sibling. funnest if it's a twin
