With the penultimate episode of #รักกันพัลวัน airing in a few hours, I can’t help but wonder what the ending holds for us and more importantly if we will get more quiet, intimate moments like this one. Honestly it’s one of my favorite scenes from last week because for me, it’s not always about what Methakawin does (doesn’t do) but more so that he thinks, desires and chooses to do certain things at all. I love that there’s no dialogue here but rather, Paa Jaew allowed his song to speak for him: 🎶How do I tell you I love you? What did I say about #รักกันพัลวัน goodies? We had consistent nickname addresses, animal (and fire) rescues, personal bedside medical treatment (✌🏾!), village ab ruk teasing, accidental (or incidental😜) extended cuddling and an unfortunate bout of male posturing! Narratively speaking, perhaps the biggest development was, not only is our heroine thinking and thanking him in her sleep, when given the option, she chose Khun Matt (who cares about the technicalities). He has definitely made some strides through showing what a caring person he truly is. From every moment they spent in the village, giving her great advice and his shoulder, then her father. One thing that continues to impress me about Khun Matt is that he has no qualms about proximity with Toon. He never pulls away first and talk about only having eyes for one person right?! Sigh.
