It's so unfortunate when this happens, because you end up losing great staff who know a lot about the residents/patients.  Bringing in a slew of new faces to care for someone is detrimental to both the physical and emotional health of a LTC resident.  New staff are more prone to mixing up medications because they don't know the residents, and they also have more difficulties helping a resident because they are unaware of specific needs and wants for that person.  My blood boils every time I hear about a facility where this is happening, and I don't blame you in the least bit for leaving.  I feel ya.

I think you did the right decision Rachel. I don't know how you ever handled having all that horrible hate before. I'm glad that hopefully now you can enjoy your blog without worries. :)
