I can feel a longing that’s starting to stir deep in my heart.

Sinking

We sang this song in worship today and it got me thinking of my current state. Why am I so hesitant to say yes? Where did this fear creep in? When did I lose faith and start to not trust God? 

Despite my gut reaction to pull away and run, God’s hand was always open toward me. He constantly invited me to come closer. He gently reminded me of who He is, who I am, what we’ve been through.
