Curse Techniques and Coping Mechanisms

I once saw a tik tok of someone pointing out that a lot of Jujutsu sorcerers' curse techniques serve as different coping mechanisms.

Gojo's Infinity- refusing to let people get close to him

Geto's balls- swallowing other curses as a form empathy because he can feel the curses or something?

Megumi's shikigami are similar to emotional support animals

Nobara's staw dolls aren't far off from witchcraft/voodoo dolls

Inumaki's cursed speech can be seen as a form of manifestation.

HOWEVER, I don't remember the video talking about villains/curse users. That being said, this thought isn't far off in my opinion.

Sukuna's fire and slashing could serve as him "burning"/insulting others when attacked

Uraume's ice technique could mirror them giving the other person the cold shoulder when they are in a conflict.

Kenjaku, since he body hops and uses sorcerers' curse techniques, it could mean he matches other people's energy and acts the way they do.

Jujutsu Kaisen Curse Technique Ideas

So I’ve been obsessed with making ideas for curse techniques on my notes. Imma share the best ideas (in my opinion) here. Warning: grammars, spellings, English is not my first language. Please give me credit before using any of this.

• Ichigo (curse)

Ichigo means “protector” and from its name you probably has guess what’s this curse is about. Basically the idea is like Yuta and Rika but the curse lives INSIDE the user.

Ichigo can comes out when the user’s feeling overload or if it just sense danger. Basically Ichigo is protective of the user and it has a childish personality (it also takes the user’s personality; favorite food, favorite person, etc). Ichigo is born from accumulated negative feelings. So Ichigo is like the negative side of the user, thus said is very powerful and dangerous (can be evil if not handled properly). The user can use Ichigo’s ability if they has enough control. Ichigo also needs an “anchor” in case the user loses control; Ichigo rampage. The “anchor” will be a person the user most font of. This anchor will be the only one who able to calm Ichigo down (Ichigo can sense the person from their curse energy).

• Eight Giants Shikigami (AOT inspired)

The user can summon three giants at a time (the colossal titan being an exception). All titans are based from AOT (except founding); Attack, Female, Warhammer, Colossal, Jaw, Beast, Armored, and Cart. Its power and weakness also based from AOT. The reason why I did not include Founding is because the Founding’s power are based on the Eldian people, but since we do not have any Eldians to control, I figured that the Founding isn’t needed.

• Sleep Curse Technique

As the title said, the user can put targets to sleep. They can hypnotise the user to sleep and emits sleeping gas created (from curse energy) from their pores. This technique, though simple but effective in battles.

• Card Technique

The user’s innate technique is slicing and shredding the target. But unlike Sukuna, they need to transfer it to something, in this case cards. Basically the user slaps the cards on the target and it will carve based on the cards shape; hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. The size is base on the number, the bigger the number, the bigger the carving will be. (Sorry if this one is confusing)
