From the point of view of a human unfamiliar with the Dark World, there probably wasn't a difference between a Darkner and a regular monster. "I'd like to think that regardless of what I am, I'm still a "person"."
Ralsei was unsure of the man's intentions, but he continued to smile reassuringly.
"This is a little strange, but are you a user of magic? I can... sense it in a way, although faint." He couldn't have known the man's very existence was magic in a way though.
