"Motherfucker... where the hell have you been? I've been so goddamn lonely that I bought a cat, we now have a cat, your welcome. Next time would you mind letting me know that you're gonna disappear for weeks... months... on end? Thank you. Your tea is on the table."
Subaru stared at him, blinking slightly. He look from Nari to the cat, then to the tea on the table. He arched a brow then smiled and shook his head a bit. “I was in Kobe on assignment...” He replied hanging up his coat. In all honesty, Subaru wasn’t expecting Nari to stick around so long. The onmyouji wasn’t the greatest company in the world, all things considered, so he was almost sure the other would leave.
He sat down on the sofa after picking up his tea. “I’m sorry I worried you, Nari. I wasn’t really expecting to be gone so long.” Subaru had spent so long in Kobe at the request of his grandmother, just to make sure the problem there would not return. The spirits were far more powerful than the onmyouji was expecting, but his grandmother had faith in his abilities. He sipped the tea slowly, relaxing into the sofa.
“Forgive me, Nari?”
