she backs away from nate, moving her gashed-open arm further away. it wasn’t really anything, she was climbing a tree to get some poor shadysider kid’s shoes & scraped her arm wide open. she’d tossed the sneakers down to the poor kid, waiting till they all cleared to climb back down. they didn’t need to know, & she simply rolled her sleeves down till she made it to nurse lane’s. however, of course, that was sidetracked by nate asking her to help him with something, she doesn’t know what. “ because it’s not fuckin' important? & i was goin' to nurse lane before you hijacked my afternoon. so. d'you actually need something, or are y’just gonna look at me like i’m some kinda invalid? ”

blair tried not to giggle. hurt her? who could hurt her? she was backed up by hell, a little satanic princess, she was pretty sure she was safe. if anyone was going to hurt someone, it was blair. but, she liked that sam seemed so concerned for her well-being. it was sweet. blair smoothed down her cheerleading skirt and straightened her back. ❝ hurt me? good one, sam. no, no, i’m fine. ❞
