at the request of our lovely members, we at the gossip blog have decided to host a blind date for the winter ball that is fast upon us. 

there are a tragic many of you all going stag to this event, and we have decided this cannot be!

anyone who do not have a date, and would like one, can like this post ( and comment names of characters participating, please!) and will be randomly matched using a generator with another member. this will close at approximately 9:30pm EST today ( 30th ), pairs will be announced at 10:30pm EST today ( 30th ).

please make at least one post with your partner for the evening, even if your characters have not interacted previously! this is meant to be some fun, and give us some excitement and drama. whether your characters get along or not, this will be lots of fun!

participation is not required, but it is just a bit of fun, and who isn’t here to have some fun?

characters will be matched regardless of gender or gender prefences, and dates are only as ‘date like’ as you want them to be! after all, meeting new people is wonderful!

ezekiel leans on the wall of the party, observing, mostly. occasionally snagging a drink. parities aren’t his thing, not in the social sense. but he’s always liked watching people -- people who had money and valuables and things that would be so easily lifted. he hung towards the edges, resisting the urge, “my friend, cassie, she loves this kind of stuff.” he told whoever approached him with a grin, glancing over, “almost sad she’ll miss this.”

Bruce walked around after having spent the last 20 minutes or so, socializing and mingling around the various types of ball attendees that were there. Despite the fact that this was a ball conducted on this bizarre and magical ; a phenomenon that he now had to eventually accept and then believe was real in order to explain the strange and powerful events or incidents that had been happening around this blasted place for the past 6 months that he had been stuck here, Island, Bruce still found it wise to socialize around in order to gain more needed information and useful connections, so as to be able to find away to get off this Island and return home. However tonight, he also had to meet his date whom he had invited to come to this New Year’s Ball with him. An interesting and vivaciously beautiful blonde-haired female named Buffy Summers, whom he had only just met a few days ago. Despite only managing to have a short conversation with her, Bruce had found her slightly intriguing and he would have to be blind if he said that he hadn’t found her looks pretty attractive too, besides her personality. Plus one could never know just yet if she might prove to also be a helpful  connection to make a good acquaintanceship of,  in his mission to get out of this Island.

Feeling slightly eager and a tiny bit hopeful, both feelings of which he managed to hide momentarily, he then continued roaming around the crowded and vast ballroom, searching for the blonde. Finally spotting her, he then made his way over to her, immediately wearing a happy expression and satisfied smile. Upon standing in front of her, he then gallantly took her one of her hands, bend his upper body  a little and placed a chaste kiss on it , before looking back up at her, his eyes sparkling a little. “I’m very glad that you made it. and might I say that you look breathtakingly lovely tonight,”he smiled, speaking with his natural winning charm and upper society elegance, with only the barest hint of his playboy persona.
