Weird face/body animations and graphical bugs aside, the game is pretty fun. And there’s definitely a Star Trek feel to the game. Rather than have a universe ending threat, it’s more about finding a home and exploring new potential planets for your colony to live on and trying to build good relationships with new alien civilizations. Not to say there aren’t threats in the game. I’m diggin it so far.

There's nothing wrong with being curmudgeonly! It's a characteristic I deeply admire. I'm just trying out civility for my brain's sake. Lol
Nahh, I completely get that. Being curmudgeonly all the time can get exhausting, even if it is both fun and profitable. It’s like being a giant cell...gotta balance out the salt level sometimes. :P

Maybe an old post showed up in a tag or something and she thought it was more recent? Idk, her tone in the first message was very “I’m gonna one up you with this righteous knowledge bomb”-ish. The problem is, even if she was going to try to be a pedantic academic about things (which is in itself fucking ANNOYING), she was wrong.
The last two messages where she suddenly agreed with you seemed sheepish like “wellllll I guess you could look at it that way because I actually have no idea what I’m talking about and it just occurred to me that you actually do”.
I’m just wondering what her point was or what she expected your response would be? “Oh, why thank you.. my Latinx self had no idea what Latinx meant until you swooped in to inform me!!! I am better for this exchange!”???

1. Do you ever doubt the existence of others than you?
No… I mean, sometimes it’s like that dictionary of obscure sorrows word….what was it? … Sonder! That was it. When suddenly it occurs to me that everyone around me is as distracted and in their heads as I am, but… no, I don’t doubt their existence.
2. On a scale of 1-5, how afraid of the dark are you?
It depends. I’m not afraid of the dark generally. I kind of like the dark. It’s serene in a way…but if, say, I’m out walking at like 2 in the morning and it’s dark, and I have no idea what’s around the corner? Yeah, a bit nervous then.
3. The person you would never want to meet?
There are a lot of people I don’t want to meet, if I’m being honest. But if this question is meant as “someone who I’ve interacted with personally who I would never again want to come across”, I would say this one dude with whom I had an absolute nightmare of an interaction after being asked out by him when I was 18.
4. What is your favorite word?
YOU WENT THERE. This is a tough one… errrrrm… Well, I really like “incandescent” and “plasmodesmata” and most mathematical terms I’ve heard just sound beautiful, and that’s just a few and just in English. If you were to ask which words I like in Spanish, we’d be here all night.
5. If you were a type of tree, what would you be?
Another tough one. Let’s see..Probably…any one of the species of tree that falls under the category of Flame Trees… They’re absolutely gorgeous and most of them grow in difficult conditions

Aside from some mildly interesting story chapters regarding the batfamily, the Arkham DLC is on the disappointing side. It's worth getting the season pass if your heavily into the various challenge modes.
