I want to make a real animation test, but for that I need a proper environment, which suggests a spin-off project!
The most interesting thing I learned while doing these was curve modelling. Basically you can define a curve, and then you can define a curve for the section and a “taper curve”. Most of the pitcher and the ornament on the top of that piece of furniture were made that way.
Next step will be some serious study of texturing. Wish me luck!
