Finally moved this chair from an awkward area to where I imagined.

It’s Cushman Maple. As a lot of my current furniture was, it was in my parents’ apartment when they got married in 1940. I used to do my homework in this chair back when I was a child. It needs new cushions and to be reupholstered.

It currently is covered by a blanket that the cats love. Hoping they’ll take advantage of this chair as it’s in my bookcase/piano room. I will surely use it as my reading chair (hence, the reading lamp).

Amazing the things you find when you're cleaning out a house. I have quite a collection of TY Beanie Babies. Most are the standard size. But I have a few larger ones. And one giant one. Valentina is 42". And very huggable. Valentina had been in hiding. But not anymore. A favourite. (That chair had been in hiding, too. Favourite furniture.) (And a box of cassettes, too.)
