So I work at a univeristy and one of the students I talk to all the time just pasted their Doctoral Defense. And I know it's silly but I'm so proud of them. And i can't lie kinda trying not to cry because he came through and thanked me for all the conversations and wanted to still be friends. So even though he's gonna be like 2hrs out he will try and say hi or meet up when he's in town. And like you don't realize how much of an impact a conversation can have. I just view myself as a janitor that they talk to here and there, but turns out he really valued them because it helped break the monotony or stress full days.

Just hit 8 years at my job! Which means it vacation and personal day restock day!!!
