I wanted to have all the game and watch amiibo in my collection but i decided to make them more unique that i would paint three to look like my three fav alt colors! All the tiny details were a pain to paint but i am very happy with the final result!!!!

hey remember a few years ago when I made a pair of custom amiibo as a wedding gift for my friends

it always bothered me that I didn't have the time to make them as nice as I wanted to (I couldn't even properly clean up the prints, let alone paint them). so I finally remade them, as a birthday present this time.

did have to repair some parts of the prints with air dry clay, and learned that a tiny paintbrush takes a surgeon's precision to wield, but! I think they turned out cute

I finished my personal project: Cherry! Her hat is hand knit, and she works as an amiibo!

So I may have gone a little insane and spent 8 solid hours today working on this, BUT!!! I made a custom amiibo based on OoT Link with the Zora Tunic and Hover Boots, because the Zora Tunic is my favorite look for him and I have an unreasonable obsession with the Hover Boots.

The boot covers were made with worbla and very painstakingly shaped with little tweezers and my new best friend the flathead screwdriver. Then I used acrylic paint and varnish to make my personal ideal OoT Link figure. I'm so pleased with the result \o/
