Created a border, felted the inside (not shown), laid down basic colors and began gold work. Coming along nicely! Might darken the actual wood with stain (which I should have done first) and then work on the side decoration/design since it's just bare right now. Goals for tomorrow are finishing the top cover with paints. That blue is just a little too light for me.

dice box! dice box! dice box!

I got into mtg recently and stored my counters and dice in an ugly plastic pouch since I had nothing else immediately on hand. until now!

wanting my dice to live in a prettier place, last weekend I unearthed this wooden box from the depths of my drawer, painted it black, and drew a bunch of pretty designs on it with sparkly gel pens. the stuff on the top reads "Agenor White" (the screen name I have in mtg arena) in the alphabet Grimes used in her music video for IDORU.

the inside is simply a piece of blue felt, but I also have inner linings in green and black in case I feel the need to change things up a bit.

overall I'm really happy with how it turned out!
