First off! Here is how they looked right out of the box. All their accessories are made if solid grey or black plastic. Right out of the box their accessories are honestly pretty nice for the limited colors. My only complaint is that strikers headband and pack Refused to stay on
Here's how they look now!
Close ups and explanations below:
Striker:
For Striker most of his accessories were fine. I replaced his headband with one i made out of black electrical tape. I also used silver paint on his gun and arm thingy to give them a bit more shine. I ended up having to cut part of his pack to make it fit him correctly but thats not a big deal
Clint:
Clint is probably the one that turned out the best imo. I replaced clints plastic cape with one i made out of a scrap of fabric. All I did was cut some holes in it and tie it around his neck. I painted his helmet green and the goggles on top of it brown. His helmet was a bit lose so I used some putty (for hanging up posters) to keep it in place. I also put a lair of silver paint on his gun to weather it a bit
Raptus:
Raptus originally came with a Grey headband, which actually fit the stikbot rlly well. I ended up making a new one out of electrical tape just to be more show accurate. I put some silver paint on his knives and in various places on his body to make him look more rugged. The silver on the normal stikbot wasn't shiny/messed up enough for my liking so I added the paint, this can be skipped if you dont want to paint the bot directly. I painted his visible eye red
Shift:
Shift was the one that took the longest. In the show Shift has transparent green glasses, but the toy comes with solid black ones. I ended up painting them with a couple layers of white paint before going over it with metallic green paint. I think they look nice as is but if someone wanted to make them more accurate you would either have to find a different pair, or make a new pair out of transparent plastic or resin.
For the rest of shifts accessories I added silver paint to the main parts. I might go back and add more layers of silver though because shift in the show has solid silver colored armor. I used the same green metallic paint that I used on his glasses for the green parts
Pixel:
As for paint pixel really didn't need much. I added silver paint on her sword and shield just for fun
Her harness is made out of a scrap piece of fabric i had laying around. Its specifically from the seams of an old tan shirt. I cut two strips, glued one around her torso/shoulder and the second one her waist
Regalius:
His is still a work in progress, primarily because i dont have the materials needed to finish it yet. I kept the grey cape that he came with, and added black electrical tape to his torso to mimic his later seasons look.
Sadly regalius doesn't come with his hat in the set, I want to make one eventually but I have no idea how, so hes hatless for now. Eventually I plan on getting some small gear charms from a craft store to glue onto his torso (plus a chain for his cape). But as of right now he will stay as is
Thats it! Sorry this post isn't formatted the greatest, I made these multiple months ago and had to search my camera roll to find the pictures. I hope everyone likes my customs!!
