WonderBug Photography: Inspired by Nature

Hello! Welcome to my humble blog. 

I’ve always loved taking photos and over the years it developed into a full blown hobby. The love of gardening translated into the primary focus of my photography: flowers, insects, and up-close imagery of both. In the past few years I have experimented with landscape photography and animals, and the results of these experiments are shown within the pages of this site. An important aspect of my photography efforts is the desire to take pictures in their natural state as they are happening. So every image is unique and represent a certain point in time. This means that all photos you view were not pre-arranged or set up. I take a great joy in seeking perfect moments and capturing them as they occur: the morning dew on flower petals before they are touched by morning sun; bugs and insects preoccupied with consuming the leaves of my roses :-) or simply a newly hatched army of ladybugs sitting quietly under the leaf. You would think that after so many years of taking photos it will become boring, but yet year after year I get excited as the spring comes, and every year I can't wait to see what I will find outside.
