Customize your iPhone with widgets effortlessly! This guide helps you create a unique home screen, arrange widgets and enhance productivity
The iPhone is a powerful device, but it can be difficult to use at times. But did you know there’s a way to make your iPhone easier to use? You’ll be glad to hear that there is! Using widgets on your phone can make things simpler than ever before—and we’ll show you how.
How to customize your iPhone with widgets
Widgets are the little bits of information that can be placed on your home screen. They’re like mini apps, with the exception that they don’t take up any space in your app drawer and are always available at a glance. For example, if you’re using an iPhone 7 or later model and have downloaded the Weather app from Apple’s App Store (which comes preinstalled), swipe left from your first home screen to reveal a widget for it–it’ll look like this:

What is a widget?
A widget is a small application that runs on your home screen. It can display information, like the weather or a clock, or it can be used to launch an app. Widgets can also control an app, provide quick access to contacts and more.
