Charlie Shepard [x]
Ok so Aiden Shepard wasn’t so hard to figure out since he’s based off the other Aiden, but not quite.
He’s mostly stoic, has a hard time showing emotions but he loves memes, trolls people with his *wasted* hacker skills, he built himself a cute robot which he calls Aiden Jr.
When he was living on Earth he was a part of an activist hacker group where he still has connections and uses their help if needed (I called the group dotNET heh). He hates Cerberus and during his dotNET times he actually fought them. I chose Earthborn for him but he still grew up with a family, but he was kicked out of home when he was 17 because he was running with gangs (and dotNET which was considered a joke until they started causing blackouts in cities).
He can be pretty rough and mean when someone messes with his friends or family. He’s still in contact with his younger sister and his father, however his mom is still mad at him even though he is a hero. He most likely ends up with Ash since he likes her tough attitude, he’s similar but colder than her. He’s introverted, sometimes cold and distant, but he tries to be better.
So…that’s what I have so far for my new son.

Charlie is not a fan of thermal clips.
She was used to the way her guns cooled down before the implementation of thermal clips--so much so that she could literally feel how close her guns were to overheating based on what she felt, and didn’t really need to look at the meter. They never overheated without her intentionally doing so, and the time they needed to cool down was built into her fighting strategies. (She can do a lot of damage with more than just her guns, she’s an N7 after all.)
So when she woke up in that Cerberus facility and Miranda started telling her to grab a gun and thermal clips, she was just like, “What the fuck is a thermal clip?” After using them, Charlie decides that they were a ridiculous idea since it creates a similar situation to having limited ammunition since weapons won’t fire without the thermal clip. She’s also extremely attached to her guns (”extremely attached” is kind of an understatement) and was very annoyed when Cerberus gave her her old guns back and she found out that they just went ahead and retrofitted them, replacing the cooling tech with the capacity to use thermal clips.
It didn’t take Charlie very long to adapt to the use of thermal clips, but she’ll tell anyone who cares to listen (and those that don’t) that she prefers things the old way.
