A large bouquet of roses, peppered with eucalyptus and gypsophila sat in a vase proudly, its deep blossoming red took over the colours of everything else in the kitchen. A Valentine's day card is left by its side, reading as follows in a neat, calligraphic handwriting:
To infinity and forever more. I will always love you. -H
Inside a gift box he had left Clark his latest knitted scarf, one looking a whole lot more healthier than the Christmas one Howard had made for him. A post-it note rests on top.
It's all I know how to make, sorry :^)
The scarf was... an improvement from that last. Admittedly? Clark was not one to really wear scarves. Despite this, he had dedicated a spot in his closet specifically for anything Howard made for him. At present, this was just scarves.
The blond went about neatly folding the note back up, walked it over to the inconspicuous spot in the living room, and bent to retrieve his small bocks of sentimental items. The note was neatly placed inside and the box was hidden once more.
The counter was then otherwise cleared to ensure the flowers were the absolute focus for the time being. He smoothed his hand over the knitted item, hummed, and carried it with care to his bedroom to place next to its counterpart.
