I just woke up one day with the idea of futuristic criminal underworld being ran by mad scientists.
It's really just my excuse to do geeky unnecessary world building (Wanna hear about the postmail system?) only to neglect the world building I actually need to do.
The name comes from one of my favorite OCs- I didn't have a name for him for a long time, so I referred to him as X anytime I wrote something.
Also, he got drone that was supposed to develop mentally (or whatever AI got) like a human, but got stuck on the child phase so it's basically a floating metal ball of cuteness and lasers.
