I went into this song knowing that some people in the fandom didn't like it. But I want to emphasize that I DO NOT let that influence me, unless I geniunely agree with what they're saying.
I don't care what people say‐ I LOVE this song. So much💕
It's too short yeah.. but it's short and sweet in a way. I LOVE IT. It's so impactful. The entire vibe of the song and all the switch ups.. it's so fun. And I think that's what this world needs more of.. FUN! 💕❗️
And all the sounds in the back!! Moa's (?) brrrrr and Momo's growl barking 🤣🤣 it's so great

I love that Babymetal are able to stay true to their own sound. It may be very different from what we've heard but it has that contrasting effect that a lot of their discography has.
It goes back to their roots (the combination of jpop and metal). It's so different but they made it work! It's the same thing now! They put an edge on what could've been a bubbly cutesy rap song (!?) and give it a lot of grit. It's like combining Kuromi and My Melody. Or something like that 🤭
I'm obsessed with this song and excited for the Babymetal edits with this song- and I hope other fandoms use it for edits too!!!

Sunset Kiss
This song is a LITERAL MASTERPIECE.
We finally FINALLY got the studio version..
This is not the first time I've heard this song. My first experience was with fancams from the o2.. which, amazingly, still sounded amazing despite the not so great sound quality. Su's voice is just so beautiful.
And the visual presentation in their performance made me fall in love with this song. I LOOVE this song so much I wish everyone in my life would listen to it and watch the pro-shot live performance. Seriously 😭😭 It SOUNDS like the warmth of a sunset kiss, even though I've never experienced such a thing. They embody the feeling so well.
I really enjoyed Brand New Day and that collaboration with Polyphia and OH MY GOD.. Sunset Kiss didn't disappoint.

And the fact that we can finally hear the studio version of the Polyphia instrumentals/and Babymetal vocals.. it feels like a blessing. THANK YOU FOX GOD.

My QUEENS 😭😭😭 Okay when I was anxiously looking at the countdown before it released.. I had no idea what to expect.
The music video dropped the same time as the album for me. So I just watched the mv obviously lolol and HOLY
I froze I was FROZENN when I heard Su start the song off with her low vocals. I literally almost threw myself off my chair. The gay panic was so real LMAOOO
To anyone who saw my previous posts, you'll know this MV concept was a dream come true cause I predicted a lot of it (simply by going off clues and guessing). I was like "hehe what if they're the queens on one side of the board (dressed in black), courtney is the queen on the other side (dressed in white), they're small and the chess board is also small and the creepy dude from the teaser is playing the game- hahaha.. WAIT I'M RIGHT?
IT WAS HILARIOUS LOLL
DREAM COME TRUE. I DON'T EVEN PLAY CHESS I JUST LIKED THE WHOLE ALICE IN WONDERLAND CONCEPT WITH THE HUGE CHESS BOARD

As for more of my thoughts on the song itself, it's sooo cool. I've heard some Spiritbox music and I can definitely feel the similarity. Courtney's screams were sooo awesome. The way she switched back and forth between the.. talking and screams (Idk how to describe). It elevated the song!
Even the way Su is singing is very fitting for the tone of the song, but she still keeps it very Babymetal! I love that! And her vocals are incredible as always that LAST NOTE AUDHSJFKSJJDKD
The dancing is SOOOO good too btw and the way it was filmed was sooo sick (in a good way)

I.. CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH SHOCK I WAS IN WITH THIS SONG.
First of all, the video game noises reminds me so much of Up Down Left Right BBAB
And everything else is like Syncopation
It's basically if BBAB and Synco had a child. That would be this song !!
Su's powerful voice just cuts through the instruments. Absolutely mind-blowing. Amazing!!!!! I cannot praise it enough.
It's literally an epic video game battle song. It's uplifting, bright, and makes me want to jump up and down. I LOVEEE THAT
And of course..
I can't forget the MOMOZILLA RETURNSSS🦖!!!!! Momo's growls in this are incredible I was jaw dropped the entire time listening to it.
I love love loveee how they're using her growls in Babymetal's music. It's one of the best decisions this band has made for themselves. It brings this new heaviness and, of course, brings more appreciation to lovely Momo. She deserves it!! For her artistry and lovely personality too!!
I need to hear this live wtf.. like we need a pro-shot video of a live performance immediately!!!! I wonder if they'll perform this in their upcoming concerts!!

White Flame
This one is going to be a long one.
I was already really excited for this song, no matter the outcome, because Su-Metal is credited as "vocalist, composer lyricist" in this song. And I'm just so proud of her !!
This is the first time since Divine Attack (I love that song)
AND ALSO Leda Cygnus who is a former Kami Band member was involved in this song too! Extra special!!
For those who don't know, Su talked about writing this song in the PMC magazine volume 36!

Su compares this song with Akatsuki (crimson moon) to represent red. And Amore – 蒼星 (love – blue star) to represent blue.
And she talks about how White Flame's main motif is the sun!!! Which is just so beautiful.
Now hearing the song, she repeats the word sunlight a lot. It's so lovely uaaghh I just.. there are truly no words.
The first time I heard this song.. I was reminded of Akatsuki, Road of Resistance, Arkadia, and ESPECIALLY Amore because of the warmth/hope in this song.
(Side note: Amore is one of my favourite songs. The lyrics, overall message, and Su's voice makes me cry)
Something about this song.. wow it really felt like a warm hug. It felt like the warmth of the sunlight, but at the same time, it's filled with energy. I am struggling to come up with a way to describe this song because it makes me feel things I can't put into words.
The melody made me sob. It may seem like I'm exaggerating but I was shaking so much before the tears came out. I was very emotional because it felt like a classic Babymetal song.
The instrumentation as well is absolutely STUNNING!!! DAZZLING!!!! Such a complex musical piece!!! It's progressive metal, a bit similar to Tales of the Destinies in some parts.. and that's why I love it because I LOVE WHEN BABYMETAL DO PROG METAL YEAHHHHH
ALSO THE LAST HIGH NOTE IS SOOO HIGH FAWKFHDKKDS THAT'S LIKE.. THE HIGHEST (OR ONE OF THE HIGHEST) SU HAS SUNG.
It's so BEAUTIFUL

From all these songs I just talked about, it's a
♾️ / 10 !!!!!!
INFINITY!!! IT'S PERFECT
For the entire album, I'm gonna say 9/10 because they needed more non-collaboration songs.
But I definitely see why they did so many! It's more exposure for Babymetal towards fans of other metal bands. And it shows how amazing Babymetal are as artists. It is an incredible skill to blend so well with other artists' styles/cultures but still sound so authentically themselves. I love that
