and one last few rambles that are Chara focus
the first ramble, Chara's time in the Underground with Frisk.
Chara wakes up when Frisk falls into the Underground. Initially they are aggressive and rude towards the kid, but unable to do anything besides talk, narrate and unwillingly follow them. Chara is surprised about Asgore's new law regarding humans, even more so upon leaening he has already collected six souls. Even with their hatred with humans, they question what could have happened to turn their dad from a big push over to be completely okay with murdering multiple people. Chara slowly warms up to Frisk over the adventure. Chara almost breaks down upon learning what happened to Asriel and how both of their deaths hurt the whole Underground. Chara vows to help Frisk peacefully stop Asgore and return hope to the Underground to undo their mistakes. Though it fails, they help Frisk Reset in an attempt to find a way to save everyone.
tldr: Chara becomes a better person overtime throughout the Netutral and Pacifist Routes.
And the last ramble: Chara's crush on Clover.
The royal NEVER expected themselves to ever fall in love with someone, especially a human. It took Chara sometime to recognize the feeling and initially they try denying it. The emotions they never expected to feel completely overwhelm them and they don't know what to do. Additionally, Chara feels like they don't deserve to be loved, similar to Clover. Chara blames themselves for everything that happened to the Underground after their plan failed. Such as Asriel turning into Flowley and Asgore ordering all fallen humans to be killed. Hope vanished throughout the Underground due to their death. Since Flowley is the one who manipulated Clover into genociding, Chara feels at fault for that.
Tldr: two kids who didn't ask for it are brought back from the dead and now live with intense guilt due to their actions. Both kids help the other overcome their issues.
Frisk has a meeting because theyre the ambassador. And and Chara has to be there because they share half a soul with Frisk and cant be too far away from eachother (similar to my Kanako and Integrity hc). Clover came for emotional support. Ig Chara and Clover r just waiting outside chatting (Chara is not pleased to be here absolutely not this place is full of HUMAN POLITICIANS!!)
