We’re all familiar with the movie “Babe,” the Oscar-winning film about a pig who was raised to be a sheepdog, and while Olive the pig doesn’t herd any sheep, she definitely thinks she’s a pup. Why? Well, she’s grown up with three best doggie friends.
Olive was adopted by a couple who own a farm in Sydney, Australia. The pig’s mom Alissa is a photographer and her popular Instagram account documents the adventures of her eight-month-old oinker and the three dogs that love her like a sister.
She might be a pig, but these dogs agree that Olive belongs in their pack, rather than a pen.

Rounding out the fearsome foursome is Lola the French bulldog.
We had our photos done yesterday for the Daily Telegraph and alllll the kids were awkwardly uncooperative! Getting all four plus me in the one shot was no mean feat- I salute the Photographer for his patience with these terrors!! 😂😂

Olive is always there for her doggie friends, even when life gets ruff.
We got home today to find Alfie’s ear torn in two places and blood everywhere! We aren’t sure but suspect he went into battle with a Goanna 🐉 the vet glued his ear back together and he has to wear this collar and bandage for a few days. He’s not happy! Some people think pigs are messy, but they’re actually quite sophisticated. They can be taught tricks and insist on keeping their waste separate from where they sleep (unlike even some dogs I know).
