These delightful Baby Shower Cake Pops are a charming and imaginative confection to commemorate the impending birth of a child. They are a fun addition to any baby shower celebration, with a moist cake interior, a candy coating, and optional decorative extras.
Ingredients: 1 box of cake mix flavor of your choice. 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened. 3 large eggs. 1 cup of milk. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 2 cups of powdered sugar. 1/4 cup of milk for frosting. 1 package of candy melts color of your choice. Cake pop sticks. Sprinkles or decorations optional.
Instructions: As directed on the package, bake the cake. Allow it to cool fully. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl. Beat together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and softened butter in a separate bowl. Mixing the wet ingredients into the cake crumbs will create a consistency similar to dough. Form the mixture into tiny balls and arrange them on a baking sheet that has been lined. Melt the candy melts in a bowl that is safe to microwave, following the directions on the package. Each cake pop stick tip should be dipped into the melted candy melts before being inserted into the cake balls. Make sure every cake pop is completely covered by dipping it into the melted candy melts. Let the excess fall off. If desired, garnish with sprinkles or other decorations while the coating is still wet. Leave the cake pops on the baking sheet to cool and solidify. To make frosting, combine 1/4 cup milk with powdered sugar. For extra decoration, dip or drizzle the cake pops into the frosting. Before serving, let the frosting harden. For a charming presentation, place the Baby Shower Cake Pops on a decorative stand!
