I’m angry. 😡 I’m pissed off because the movie “Cuties” is so much worse than we were all afraid it would be. I didn’t watch the movie because shit like this makes me sick to my stomach, but I’ve heard some shit about it that just completely throws the supposed message that the movie was intended to send out the window. There’s so much shit going on as a result from the release of the movie. One of which being that there are 2 types of people who have seen this movie: People who watched it and were so disgusted that they think they’ll get arrested just for having glanced at the screen while the movie was playing. And second, people who watched the movie and thought “These girls are hot.” .... FBI WHERE YOU AT???? 😡😡😡🤮🤮🤮 The whole point of the movie was to inform the audience about the dangers of sexualizing minors. Not only did they completely fail at sending that message, but they did exactly what they were apparently trying to tell people NOT to do!! It’s gonna take more than a God to explain how human beings can be THIS batshit stupid and irresponsible!! 🤬🤬🤬 I especially feel worse knowing that the actors in the movie were LITERAL CHILDREN that were probably manipulated and maybe even forced into being exploited to the world like this. That’s just fucking sickening! If they really wanted to send the message to NEVER specialize minors. They should have cast adult women to play as teenagers and rewrite the script to where it won’t seem like it’s catering to child predators. Or at the very least make a documentary about the events that this movie is apparently based on and sharing how victims must feel to tell the audience why this is such a big deal. But no, the writers just weren’t smart enough to get that through their thick skulls. 😡 Netflix, remove this movie. You’ve done a terrible job keeping minors out of harm’s way. If anything, it feels like you’re trying to normalize pedophilia. That’s probably not your goal, but the way this movie is done says otherwise.
