Does anyone put together that the 10 line is perhaps mentally unstable because they all have they same trauma and not because of a genetic ‘defect’

They do not. Mostly because when they were making the tens, they fucked around with their biochemistry trying to make them more intelligent than the others. Intelligence isn’t quantifiable though so what they did was increase their number of synapses, make them more prone to developing mental illnesses, and then just bombarded them with trauma. However, the kaminoans truly don’t see them as sentient so they don’t register trauma as real. So ergo, they just didn’t find the right mix of neurochemicals and they think the line is unstable.

When really, if they were natborns, they probably would have mild depression or anxiety at the most.

I’ll Sing For You is emotionally devastating, for me at least lol. Cutlip (an OC) wakes up dissociating and Seventeen has to get them through the day without the kaminoans noticing anything is off

“010.” He crouches next to Cutlip’s pod, putting them at eye level. “Hey.”

Cutlip stares past him but he does seem to be trying to focus his gaze. He doesn’t speak, just stares. Finally he drags his gaze to Seventeen. “I don’t think I’m real.”

“Okay.” Seventeen swallows hard. He reaches out to punch Cutlip’s shoulder. “That’s alright. I’ll be real enough for both of us. Think you can get out of the pod?”

Mace is one of the next parts for the Real Stars. He’s trying to dig out what’s going on with the guard and why Fox is as force sensitive as a rock but is still able to interact with the force.

“Having the galaxy depend on your survival must make it hard to give yourself to the will of the force.”

He isn’t like the rest of us. Echoes of half remembered conversations haunt Mace. Ponds had been proud of all his batchmates, but only Tenten had been younger—had pulled that half paternal rumble from Mace’s second in command. Ten’ika was built for the natborns—for the jetti. We had to learn how to talk to you, he just knows.
