We just got word that the SC Senate voted 22-21 to CUT THE CUTS. So, the current version of the budget does not contain the proposed cuts. Now, the budget goes to the Senate & House conference committee. Stay tuned for more!

MONDAY IS ABOUT TO BE AWESOME
Ok pretty gay people, justice-hungry queermos, gender warriors of all stripes, uncategorizable unicorns, straight-but-not-narrows, etc.!
Monday is gonna be awesome. First, you're going to get that cute little butt of yours over to the College of Charleston Cougar Mall for the CofC LGBTQ Pride & Solidarity rally at high noon. This is yet another great opportunity for us to come together to support both academic freedom and the LGBTQ community on and off campus! If its anything like the Cut the Cuts rally a few weeks back, it's gonna be awesome!
Then, endure the next several glorious hours of your one and only gay life until 7pm or 9pm, when you will brandish your TICKET (that you are going to buy RIGHT NOW because we don't want to see you standing outside of the Memminger Auditorium crying and holding a wilted bouquet) to the one-night-only showing of the musical Fun Home. That's right homos, the off-broadway production is COMING TO CHARLESTON! And as if that wasn't awesome enough, Alison Bechdel will BE THERE YALL. It's kind of like she's on a blind date for justice with all of us. So starch your best bow tie and get ready for a night of the good kind of crying.
