🧺 : what life skill was the hardest for your muse to learn once they were out on their own? - for Bell

𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐕𝐎𝐋 1

Bell has had to learn a lot, he's never known a life outside of Heaven and if the P.ower's terminal entry is anything to go off of aka: They literally take turns fighting opponents, so they don't "steal the glory" of the victory from one another, they've never had actual fighting experience either. Despite being massively skilled, their ultimate downfall will always be lack of real world experience.

The hardest life skill for Bell is just learning to be humbler. He is not a massively great fighter, he makes mistakes that show visibly on his armor, he's tasted his own blood and briefly lost several eyes for it. Yet, he still continues to talk and act like he's the hottest shit to ever wield a rapier while only really thinking Gabriel is above him. Getting humbled by a machine of all things? Oh now he's in denial. That thing has to be using cheap tricks and dirty tactics, something someone of his stature should never stoop to obviously.

⚖️ : does your muse trust their own judgement? what kind of situations would cause them to freeze up with indecision? - for V1

𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐕𝐎𝐋 1

V.1 is very strange in the way it's sentient, but still runs with the mind a machine built for one purpose would. The same way the G.utterman views the corpse on it's back as it's mother and will do anything to protect it while still turning humans into red mist in the trenches. Something so big shouldn't be so vulnerable like that.

V.1 trusts it's own judgement when it comes to violence. It knows how to react and act to act to keep itself as safe as possible while dealing with things that are often 4x it's height and weight. It knows when it can sacrifice damaging itself to gain an advantage and so on and so on. Anything that requires genuine compassion? Yeah that makes it freeze up. Every time Gabriel yells his woes at it, all it can do is stare with mild fascination and store the information in it's memory.

It navigates relationships of any kind like war engagements, always learning and adapting to choose what it thinks are the right options to have the least negative out come. Though, we all know that doesn't always work and thinking like a computer can make things massively blow up on your face.

Sybil always made the strangest friends in the strangest of places. Right now, she was laid out on a blanket with her pile of meat essentially. No jokes here, she's actually befriended a hyperintelligent mass of teeth, flesh and eyes. She looks along it with the same kindness as she would any person, her hand rested against her chest as they gazed at the stars together. Her hand lifts, tilting her head towards Carrion as she begins to ramble.

... Look, there. That star will explode soon. See how it's a bit tinted pink compared to the others? It'll go supernova, and in a while fizzle out completely to leave the spot empty. I've been keeping my journal up to date as it gets brighter. ,,

She shifts, turning on her side as she smiles at Carrion. Her hair shifts around her shoulders and the blanket, her eyes slightly wide as she continues excitedly.

... I've tracked at least 5 stars that have fizzled out now. A few were part of constellations, but you can still make them out. They'll be visible later this year, this place is one of the few that it's truly fully visible. Isn't it fascinating? Hmm... ,,

Gabriel was used to all manner of beings that seemed like they came out of a horror movie. Demons, some of the lesser angels... This though, was strange. Sentient though it may be, it still just looked like a pile of meat and mouths. The archangel wasn't sure what to make of it. Still... it wasn't bothering him or anyone for that matter. So he returned to his study, reading quietly to himself and hoping the thing wouldn't try to climb in his lap or something similar. Really... he had no clue what to do with the thing.
