So the immunologist said it's officially bronchitis. And gave me a nebulizer. And more cough syrup. And started the paperwork on getting my IVIG back. Basically, I need sleep and time. Fun times.
My cough is getting worse. Nothing has changed. I haven't even gotten to lowering my prednisone dose yet. I had clean chest x-rays so no pneumonia but I'm coughing like I smoked 2 packs a day for years. (Never touched one, btw) I wish I could prescribe for myself because I know pretty much the next steps. I just wish for sleep right now.
I've had them before but never heard this term before. Bibasilar Crackles Glad I called for the Prednisone pack.
My poor puppy! She's flipping out because her momma's sick again. Asthma and a brochial infection compounding to make me bark louder than her. I'm also sneezing loud enough to shake the house. Luckily, my doctor knows that I know when I need prednisone and gave me that and cough syrup over the phone. Heaven forbid I went around someone and either gave them this or got something else on top of it!
