HC + prized possession
Send me “HC” + a word and I’ll write a headcanon about it.
Right now Max has three things he considers to be prized possessions.
One, is a necklace that belonged to his mother. While he doesn’t exactly wear it often he keeps it in a place he knows he can always find it. It’s normally hanging up next to his workbench in his workshop he shares with PJ (ironically enough PJ has a similar item from his mother he keeps next to his own desk)
The second is a ribbon that belonged to Roxanne, it fell out of her hair seconds before she turned into a heartless and right now is the only thing he has left of her. He normally keeps it near his workshop aswell, but at times when he’s actually working on a project or walking around town he’ll tie it around his wrist.
The last is a photograph of himself, his mother, and father that he keeps with him all the time. It’s taped tightly into the inside of one of his shields. He’s young in the picture and doesn’t remember when it was taken or taking it at all, but it’s one of the few pictures he has where it has all three of them together.

Peggy was raised in a middle class home, attended grammar school. Her mother and father were both loving, but strict. Her father had served during the first world war, and her mother had been a nurse. They both instilled in Peggy the urge to better herself. Having a younger brother always trying his best to one-up Peggy didn’t help, either. She and Harrison were competitive as siblings could possibly be, though they did love one another. And Peggy knocked out more than her fair share of teeth from those who dared tease her little brother.

Ebony loves warm weather, she loves it when the sun is shining down & warming the earth. While she loves this state of weather, I will probably have to say that her favorite is the RAIN. The rain hold something special for her, the sound of tolling thunder, the smell of the earth being cleansed--
It was raining when she was given a new name. A new life. It was raining when she was but a young girl, escaping a living hell drenched in BLOOD. The moment she stumbled out, the smell was the first thing that hit her. The smell of wet earth, it was the low, rolling sound of thunder that managed to still her quickly beating heart. The rain STRUCK against her skin, & she felt as if it was washing away the sins she had committed only moments before. The rain had began to wash off the blood that stuck to her skin, to those sickly white garments that she was forced to wear. Soon enough, she was entirely soaked, not with blood anymore, but with rain water.
It was under those dark clouds that she was found, that the name Ebony Redgrave replaced the broken one she had once been given. She was washed, as the earth is washed by the rain, & given the opportunity to start anew.
2:Do they have any daily rituals?
// That all depends on the verse. Growing up on Abydos, she had many daily rituals - from prayer to chores to duties at the naquadah mines. Monotonous would be an excellent word to describe it. After Ra was gone (in any of those verses), she likes to read if she can. Doing a little bit each day helps solidify her skill in English -- and in those verses where she is at the SGC, she makes a point to learn something new every day, even if it’s something small.
