Mun-Directed Questions About Roleplaying!—

60. Who’s a roleplayer (or writer) you think you have learned a lot from?

Honestly, all the people I’ve followed/met over the years. I really don’t mean to sound cheesy but it’s the truth. They all inspire me and I learn so much from everyone, whether it be writing-wise or tips for certain things or even to just remain positive. I’d list them all but I’d be writing a novel and even then I’d be so nervous of leaving some people out XD

23. What’s your take on AUs?

Love them! I live and breathe for them. Amelia is technically an au herself given she’s not canon but even so I have tons of au’s for her. I think au’s are a wonderful thing cause it allows you to expand more and do stuff that might not work in your character’s main story.

43. Do you usually prefer chat/short replies, or long/para/novella replies?

I don’t mind both. Longer replies are my preference as I just like being able to express a lot and with short chats you can only write so much, however in saying that I can’t write long stuff all the time. My muse goes up and down and it’s out of my control. When that happens, the shorter stuff works best for me and that’s good cause I can keep my blog active. But out of them I do prefer longer stuff. I just don’t mind writing either. 

12. Why do you roleplay?

It’s an enjoyable hobby. It’s an escape of sorts, I guess you could say. I suffer with anxiety so when I come online and do stuff it’s a nice distraction. The writing is always enjoyable and I have really wonderful friends on here who make my time worth wild <3

8. What’s a similarly you have with your character?

We’re actually not that similar. Amelia is very cocky, arrogant and far more confident than I am. I’m pretty much the exact opposite. The only thing coming to mind in terms of similarity is dealing with anxiety and being a little bit reserved socially but our reasons, again, are completely different. I suffer with severe social anxiety but Amelia was traumatized after losing her adoptive family and just felt like she was on another planet when starting Hogwarts.

1. Your first OC ever?

Omg, this was eons ago haha XD I don’t even know if I knew what an oc was when I created her. I just know I wanted to make my own character to roleplay. I don’t remember her story exactly but she was a fandomless oc who had the power of persuasion. She also had an alter ego due to her split personality disorder who was rather sadistic and had enhanced strength. Basically, she was as mary sue as one could get XD

42. Which one of your OCs would be the most interested in Greek gods?

I have no idea to be honest. I feel so sucky saying this but I don’t understand/know a lot about greek gods so it’s hard for me to know which one of my ocs would take an interest in them. If I knew a little then it would make it slightly easier but its like asking if my oc would like a certain show that I know little to almost nothing about.

36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)?

I don’t understand this question at all, I’m so sorry D:

Honestly, I’ve given this speech far too many times cause I’m hella protective af over ocs but

GIVE OCS MORE RESPECT. THERE IS LITERALLY NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CANON CHARACTERS AND ORIGINAL CHARACTERS. BOTH WERE CREATED BY SOMEONE AND BOTH ARE ROLEPLAYED BY MUNS WHO ALL WANT TO DO THE SAME THING: WRITE. CANONS ARE NOT GREATER THAN OCS AND OCS ARE NOT GREATER THAN CANONS. THEY ARE ALL EQUAL AND DESERVED TO BE TREATED AS SUCH ٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)ᵒᵏᵎᵎᵎᵎ

29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?

Honestly that sounds like Amelia. Just cause she’s the rebellious, troublemaker type. I mean, heck, even her brother sneaks out at night at Hogwarts to strut about the corridors XD Of course Amelia would investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone where she’s going. I actually have it headcanon for her that even with her adoptive family she was prone to sneaking out on occasion.
