    It was becoming very clear to Vera that she had the absolute worst luck. Only her mother would spring a family get together on her at the very last minute. She felt possibly very pathetic and she knew that she was. Especially since she had to figure out what to do. The last thing that she wanted was to show up without someone on her arm. If she did than she knew she would never hear the end of it. Only because her mother always thought that her life would be unfulfilled if she didn't have someone by her side. That was how she found herself sitting on the couch with her friend at her side," I know that I owe you," she whispered," Just bare with me." She was going to need a strong drink. It took her by surprise when she felt them pulling her close. All she could bring herself to do was put on a smile as she leaned into them," This is going to be a very long weekend."

Grace lived in New York City, bank robberies weren’t that unusual but she never had been in one. Something she had been grateful for. However last week it had happened however. A robbery where they had gotten away with the money but for some reason they had stayed away from her. They had not touched one hair on her body because they seemed to recognise her. But why?

Grace would not be Grace if she had not gone out of her way to figure things out. And it all led back to Lorenzo. The Lorenzo that she had called her boyfriend when they went to high school. So it was time for a visit to her ex. Why had he even bothered to put her on this ‘no harm’ list.

It had not been hard to get into the building. Once the people there had recognised her, they had let her in. So it took only a bit before she leaned against the doorpost, watching the man in the room. “That has been a while since we’ve seen each other last,” Grace broke the silence, her arms crossed in front of her and her eyes focused on Lorenzo.

with the concert now over, the brunette had practically ran off the stage. throughout the entire thing she couldn’t help but notice one person standing in the front row. the one person that she had written multiple songs on her debut album about. and she had now just sang every single one of them to the male. a quick chug of water as she’s ushered to the meet and greet, the last person she expected to see there was their ex. “what are you doing here?”

“because i’m that unkissable? and i know that’s not a word. but i’m gonna use it, regardless,” thomas didn’t know much about her, but both were together in that predicament and could at least make it bearable for one another — that seemingly wasn’t her plan though. how did he get stuck in such situation, again? oh, right. his ability of not being able to say no, along with actually dating someone that would supposedly destroy his good boy reputation, got him there. “we wouldn’t want to be seen kissing by the paparazzi and look totally fake — makes sense, i suppose.” his eyes rolled inwardly. they had barely started and he was already regretting it.

she rolled her eyes at him. “like i said ‘no offense’.” she told him and sighed. “look i just propose that we take a few peck kisses and be done with it.” she told him. “and the rest we can just... wing. hugs, pretending to sleep and ‘sneaking’ a picture, all of the stuff people love.” she told him and looked over at the guy who was doing this mostly for her, at least as far as she knew. she eased up a bit. “look, we’ll just do this and afterward... maybe do something that’s actually fun. i’m just a little... on edge, i suppose.”

It had been two months since the bet was established, and Wesley had yet to take the innocent female’s virginity; however, he wasn’t really sure if he wanted to continue on with the bet as he was finding himself falling for her the more the two of them hung out. He didn’t plan for it to happen, but it just did and he didn’t want to hurt her or lose her before he even had the chance to get her which is why he never spoke about the bet. Wesley figured that it would be best if it was kept a secret, mainly for her benefit, so that way whatever they were starting to develop wouldn’t be ruined by a sick joke that was made months prior of him actually getting to know her and falling in love with her. He should have known better than to think that he could keep it from her before the truth finally crept out and poisoned everything good he came to love though. Wesley mistakenly took her to a party that was being thrown by his group of friends, and that’s where one of them had accidentally let the secret come out in front of everyone who was associated with their group of friends. He was sort of relieved that it had finally came out into the open because holding it in was suffocating him and tearing him apart every time he was around her; however, the look on her face was enough to break his heart and he had no idea what to say or do. “Please, can we talk about this? In private?” Wesley asked in a whisper as his brown hues gazed over at her.

savannah had greatly underestimated how difficult this night was going to be. to an outsider, nothing was wrong. the blonde was attending a typical college party ( as were most people her age on this saturday night ) and she had a beer in hand. she was surrounded by people she loved, people she hated, strangers, classmates, and everyone in-between. it was the recipe for a great evening and yet something was off – something only she and the person across the room she kept sneaking glances at knew. she wanted to be with them and yet she couldn’t. it went against everything they agreed to upon coming to the same party this evening. secretly dating someone was an absolute bitch and it was quickly driving her insane. sighing, the female took a seat on the couch opposite the other and quickly reached for her phone. as she typed her messages, she rolled her eyes in hopes that the other would see.
