This is Spectre, a “cyber-ninja” from the line of BBi Takara 1:6 scale figures. He is from the Cy Girls/Cool Girls line, but since he is obviously not a girl it is explained on his box that he works for Cy Com, the organization to which all the Cy Girls belong.
Spectre comes with a number of weapons, both die cast and hard plastic, and is very poseable. The hardest part of putting him together was tying the face mask on; I have no feeling in my fingertips, so that was lots of fun.
In the background of the third photo you can see two other figures from the Cy Girls line: Destiny, whom I featured earlier, and Shadow.Asuka, who is a kunoichi, or female ninja.
Placed alongside Spectre for scale in the third photo is a can of Hello Boss, which was drink of choice at the time. Hello Boss was a canned iced coffee from Taiwan that came in a few different flavors. I used to be able to find it in Chinatown (both in Los Angeles and Houston, where I was first introduced to it), and later on at several 99 Cents Stores in LA. Sadly, Hello Boss seems to have gone out of business, and the only thing I can find these days is the much inferior (in my opinion) Mr. Brown.
