Sometimes I enjoy it, yes.
Favorite word?
I had a particular singular word I liked when I was younger, but I can't recall it.
Nowadays, though? Too many words to choose one, so it's more like three; sepulchral, reliquiae, and marrow. Strong runner-ups are chitin and sarcous.

This is my personal blog.
My interests change cycle a lot. Please don't follow me if you get bothered by sudden fandom switches.
I don't post much on social media anymore. I'm around, but I prefer being quiet. Lurker lifestyle. People freak me out !
guess who.
First generation antihistamines, namely Benadryl, raise likelihood for dementia when individuals of older age (65+) take them chronically (3+ years). As I stated in parentheses this is primarily an issue for individuals aged 65+, as the more prevalent, long-term studies on this subject mostly focus on that age demographic. However, it's reasonable for younger demographics to also be concerned, especially if they are using first generation antihistamines at a chronic rate.
It is extremely solvable by simply taking newer antihistamines, or making sure that you aren't consistently taking first generation antihistamines every single day at a chronic rate. This also doesn't mean that first generation antihistamines are the direct cause for dementia, but rather, they raise the likelihood of contracting it in old age via chronic use. It's a very minor distinction but an important one imo.
It's also important to note that medications can effect elderly people much more than younger demographics. Note that there is 0 correlation to this with other conditions such as Alzheimer's—anyone who tries to connect these two issues is likely misinformed. It is also important to note that not all Benadryls are the exact same, and the easiest way to check for whats going on with them is to look for more information on the back (I am unsure, however, if this is referring to drugs that market themselves as "alternatives to benadryl" or if the brand "benadryl" is marketing several different antihistamines as the same thing. The latter is the most likely but I think it's also very... Um... silly, for a lack of better descriptor).
