These are all good recommendations @shyseishuro (which I already do except naps)
I may add other rec I found on more legitimate health sites and that make sense:
taking a break at every 25 minutes or so (I use online pomodoro timer) to get up, stretch, move a bit (may go pour some tea, pet cat, watch outside the window, etc.) - preferably going to take some fresh air, it helps readjusting to reality, reminding the body where it is in space
focus on a stable point a bit far (but not too far, I found a 20-20-20 rule saying to watch a stable point 20 feet away for 20 seconds at every 20 minutes)
blinking rapidly a few times or keeping the eyes shut for a bit (so our eyes can moisturize, as when focusing we blink less, and they tend to go dry) - using eye drops helps too
a rec I found a bit funny by how was formulated was simply disengaging from the screen/work from time to time to remind our eyes and brain that they are connected to a body, getting more self-aware
occasionally taking deep breaths (as when focusing we tend to take short breaths and don't oxygenate enough our body, and esp our brain - which also results in dizziness and drowsiness)
avoiding multiple screens at one time and blue light (use filters, I sometimes use night light on @30% during the day as well)
going for hand notes, printed text, audio instead of video whenever possible
slowing down the scroll speed
avoiding heavy foods before long periods of screen time
chewing gum, so we actually move at least a part of the body (since the problem is seeing movement while staying and ending up disorienting the brain)
hands and eyes exercises (those from Darebees have some workouts for hands and eye rest )
I'm currently testing some of these out to see if and which work (for me). I guess like with many other health recommendations, 1 shoe doesn't fit all so.... if anyone has stuff that it worked for them in dealing with cybersickness, feel free to add on to this post
