Considering the batteries were in the compartment for over 21 years, there doesn't appear to be any corrosion on the contacts! I decided to remove the batteries to prevent any further further potential damage to the components, but won't be properly cleaning out the battery compartment and the rest of the #Cybiko Classic till I film the video! The other Cybiko and the boxes, and old and new batteries will show up in the video too, but I need space to film, so watch this space for further updates!
