I felt like coloring something earlier so I found lineart from a few days ago. Figured I might as well post it!

A brief conversation between my cyborg Wheatley and Doug.

Their relationship is a huge part of this AU, and Doug has to live with the fact that the man he loves most in the world doesn’t remember him, and probably never will.

And worse than that, Doug is the one that did this to him, in an attempt to keep him alive. When Wheatley got sick, he got desperate. Doug turned him into something unrecognizable; a nightmare of his own making, fueled by the desire to keep him away from the other scientists of aperture, to keep him by his side. Things will never be the same and Doug may never get the chance to truly apologize or even speak to the man he once knew.

Wheatley never wanted this.

Doug proceeded anyway.
