There are actually TWO people working at the clinic- Doc and Dia :]
Skyfire is the resident cybug at the veterinary clinic. Doc found him half frozen in the winter and nursed him back to health, and now he just lives there
Cosmos lives at Doc's house instead of the clinic, but they'll bring him in sometimes because otherwise he gets a little lonely :(
Dia has some cybugs as well! They started off with just one, but then things kept happening and now they have like, a whole scuttle of them.
They helped foster a couple of cybugs that were rescued, and ended up keeping both of them ^^" They then ended up with another after they uh... encountered a cybug traveling in their direction. Very swiftly. (Dia is still recovering.)
Also there's that one cybug in their garden that kinda hangs around their porch. He's an honorary member of their household, even though hes a stray
Doc is also a moderator on r/cybugs. He had to break up fights between Buster and Bob and became acquainted with them that way
also i didnt know where else to put this but. i imagine you can also hold seekers like how people hold small birds when they tag them.
Firstly, I just wanna say I adore your cybugs au and how much though you put into everything! And secondly, ohh my god cybug Cosmos, I know he’s only shown up like once but he has my whole heart
cosmos my sweet son!!!!!! he has shown up exactly once before as a cameo, i love that u remembered him omg.

hihi im taking this as an opportunity to share my thoughts abt d0c and cosmos. because i love them a lot!!! both in this au and in canon lol.
first off, in the cybug verse, Cosmos is the only cybug that Doc keeps/takes care of, because Skyfire (who lives at the vet clinic) just sort of hangs out and does his own thing mostly. Skyfire likes Doc, but isn't attached to him like Cosmos is. He views Doc as a source of food and company, but they aren't Important to him.
Cosmos on the other hand... i actually think that it'd be kinda interesting if he can't fly much in this au. maybe he's really dense and it takes up a lot of energy to fly cos he's not as used to the stronger gravity because...
well... i do not think that there are bugs in space (i mean like... who knows ig) but i also think itd be really fun if cybugs also existed in the upper atmosphere like Minior (from pokemon) (i love Minior). i reckon that cybugs like Cosmos are pretty rare in general, but i could also imagine groups of "spacefaring" cybugs living in little clusters called constellations !
i think itd be really interesting if UFO-type cybugs travel up and down in the atmosphere, sort of like jellyfish or sunfish travelling up and down the water column depending on the time of day :0? OOH... maybe theyve evolved to feed on space debris and also the stuff humans shoot into the upper atmosphere and leave there, like the equivalent of deep sea creatures that only feed on wood. hmm... maybe that's too much like minior though, shfjfhdkd minior eats space dust...
i feel like im getting a little loopy, its late, but like. please consider ufo cybug meteor showers........... the other option i considered was that they travel back and forth from Earth every few years in order to feed, but!! also... think of UFO cybugs travelling further out to feed on asteroids and the like, and they only return to Earth every few centuries to breed and leave mineral deposits around their eggs.
anyway this is all to say, whether or not Cosmos can fly, he gets carried around a lot.
