Mulling about her own thoughts, the Admiral was rather distracted, one might say, as she wandered throughout her territory. She found that she just simply couldn’t sit still, even more than usual. She wasn’t hungry, having eaten more than enough for the time being, and she wasn’t particularly anger or riled up. The femme was simply, unable to be at ease; which happened to be the source of her current outing. Something, something to clear her head or at least help her gather her thoughts.
Distractedly, she began purring under her breath. A soothing sound she would use on her kin whenever they needed to be at ease, or too little ones to help calm them and let them know they were safe; cybug or simply a child of any sort.
(Hope you don’t mind if I added a title)
Meanwhile, lower down in the debris of Hero’s Duty, a young bug, unable to grow past the almost adorable first stage of growth wandered aimlessly through the chunks of rock and metal, returning home with a small woven basket ifull of candy. But then he heard a noise, not unlike the one he had heard the other day… A light purring, like the sound he made when scratched right, but more… Soothing. He called out from the safety of his den, hoping whatever it was was friendly.
((Nah, it’s cool! I probably would have forgotten anyway.))
Despite her troubled mind and conflicted thoughts, the sound of the call immediately broke through her mental defenses and snapped her clear into the present. Her eyes roamed the barren wasteland that was the rest of her territory, her sensors on full alert to track down whatever had made the sound. She let a soft chitter rise from her throat, calling back in response, before she made a low purring coo to bid her "target" out of hiding in a gentle and motherly tone.
