Chorigyne ensiformis is native to Costa Rica nad Panama. This is a picture of what is left after Chorigyne ensiformis has finished flowering. Flowers in the genus Cyclanthaceae are so unusual that I'm not really sure what part of the plant this technically is. Regardless, this is the kind of picture that makes one think "what is that?" that particularly appeals to me.
